Jensen Huang, CEO of NVIDIA, drew significant attention when visiting Taiwan, leading to increased interest in AI technology among high school students, particularly in electrics and computer science. In this year's university admissions at Taichung First Senior High School, 79 students were admitted to electrics and computer science programs, a notable increase from 65 students last year, attributed to the semiconductor industry growth and the Jensen Huang Effect influencing students' choice of fields of study. Additionally, the art class at the school saw promising results in university admissions, especially with a student named Chen Yen-Chin being admitted to various prestigious art programs and expressing a desire to use art to give back to society.
