A recent concert in China featuring impersonators of Jay Chou, known as 'Fake Jay Chou,' 'Porridge Biscuit Chou,' and 'Black Chou,' had ticket prices skyrocketing to around 3500 RMB (approximately 15600 TWD), exceeding the prices of Jay Chou's own concerts. Despite not directly using Jay Chou's name in the promotion, the event was deemed to violate image rights by imitating his appearance and voice to the extent that the audience could mistake them for the real Jay Chou according to lawyer Su Yanxin from Beijing. The impersonators' resemblance to Jay Chou caused a stir, with fans expressing dissatisfaction over the situation.
