During a recent inquiry, Nationalist Party legislator Huang Jen brought up concerns about the maintenance and budget for indigenous community roads, highlighting the impact of typhoons on routes crucial for transportation and tourism. In response, the Ministry of Transportation has revised the public transport subsidy program, raising the subsidy limit. Additionally, Huang suggested the construction of a sea-spanning bridge between Fugang and Dulan in Taitung to alleviate traffic congestion and boost local tourism and prosperity, pending evaluation by the Ministry.
