Massachusetts-based agtech startup Inari Agriculture Inc. has raised $144 million in new equity, boosting its valuation to $2.17 billion, a 32% increase from the previous year. The funding round attracted new investors, including a unit of the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority, alongside existing backers. Inari, founded in 2016, focuses on developing crops like soybean, corn, and wheat using technology that minimizes resource use, aiming to enhance food security amid global challenges.
