According to TVBS News on July 5, 2024, Taiwan is experiencing hot weather with 14 counties and cities displaying high-temperature warnings and Kaohsiung recording a temperature of 39.9 degrees Celsius. The rising temperatures have led to an increase in 'heat-related' medical cases, with 741 cases reported in June compared to 517 cases during the same period last year, representing an increase of over 200 cases. Various incidents of heat-related injuries have occurred recently, emphasizing the importance of taking precautions to prevent heat-related illnesses.
