TV networks and streamers are preparing special programming for Independence Day 2024. Macy’s 4th of July Fireworks on NBC will feature musical performances and a unique firework display. CNN’s The Fourth in America will showcase various musical acts and live firework shows from across the country. PBS will host A Capitol Fourth with performances and simulcasts on NPR and American Forces Network. ESPN will broadcast the Nathan’s Famous Hot Dog Eating Contest, and Fox News will air patriotic-themed programming all day. CBS will have a special episode of The Price Is Right, and C-SPAN 2 will air its Books That Shaped America series throughout the day.
