Hindenburg claimed that Buch had investments in offshore funds linked to the Adani Group. SEBI stated that past allegations against the Adani group were investigated, with most inquiries concluded. Buch defended her actions, asserting that her investments predated her role at SEBI. The mutual fund sector also defended the integrity of India's financial system against such claims.
