Former Miss Indiana Latina, Glenis Zapata, was arrested as part of a major drug bust involving a Mexican cartel and one of the DEA's most wanted fugitives, Oswaldo Espinosa. Zapata, who allegedly used her job as a flight attendant to transport drug money, was one of 18 suspects apprehended in the operation. Espinosa, the purported leader of a multi-million dollar drug trafficking ring, recruited individuals like Zapata to help move cash and cocaine across the U.S. and Mexico. The investigation was led by the Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Forces, targeting major drug rings in the country.
