Despite the recent earthquake, the Hualien Summer Festival proceeded as planned and featured the climax of 'Indigenous Night' with performances by local artists such as Yeh Ai-Ling, who sang the Indigenous national anthem 'My Heart Has Closed for the Night' and engaged the audience in a tribal-themed karaoke session. The festival also saw singer Wen Lan returning after a decade to perform in traditional Indigenous attire, delivering hit songs and a heartfelt message of unity. The event, running for 17 years, has boosted tourism in Hualien during the summer and will continue with performances by various popular artists.
