Indonesia and Apple Reach Agreement to Lift iPhone 16 Ban

Reported about 4 hours ago

Indonesia and Apple have reached an agreement to lift the ban on iPhone 16s, which was imposed due to Apple's failure to meet local manufacturing requirements. As part of the deal, Apple is planning a $1 billion investment in a manufacturing facility for smartphone components and will also engage in training local talent. Although the ban may soon be lifted, Apple does not have plans to produce iPhones in Indonesia immediately.
