A pregnant 32-year-old Indonesian woman died on June 30 after undergoing an abortion procedure in a clinic in Wanhua, Taipei. The woman, accompanied by her boyfriend, lost vital signs shortly after anesthesia was administered and despite efforts to save her, she ultimately passed away in front of her boyfriend. The exact cause of death is to be determined through an autopsy, with the clinic staff suspected of medical malpractice being investigated by the Wanhua police.
