The Industrial Zone Manufacturers' Association held its 9th and 13th joint board of directors and supervisors' meeting at the Grand Hotel in Kaohsiung on June 19, 2024. Former Vice Premier of the Executive Yuan, Shen Rongjin, was appointed as the Chief Consultant during the meeting. The association's Chairman, Lai Bao-si, expressed gratitude for the support received during his term and highlighted the focus on achieving carbon neutrality and smart transformation to enhance competitiveness among member factories. Various agenda items were approved during the meeting, including financial reports, the appointment of Shen Rongjin, amendments to the constitution, and election procedures for board members and supervisors.
