Infineon announced a 1.2 billion NT investment in Taiwan to upgrade its existing Wireless Communication Research Lab and establish the Infineon Advanced Automotive and Wireless Communication Semiconductor R&D Center, collaborating with local academic and research partners to develop automotive-grade communication chips and innovative application solutions. Supported by Taiwan's Ministry of Economic Affairs, the project aims to boost the automotive electronics industry with a projected output value of 60 billion NT and enhance Taiwan's R&D capabilities in the automotive wireless communication field.
