A witness has informed the House Ethics Committee that Florida Republican Rep. Matt Gaetz paid her for sex as part of the sex trafficking investigation. The committee has interviewed several women associated with Gaetz, who were allegedly paid by his close friend Joel Greenberg. Some witnesses confirmed receiving Venmo payments from Gaetz for sex, while others stated they were paid to attend parties involving drugs and sex. Gaetz has denied all accusations, blaming the investigation on political motives and stating that past investigations into him have resulted in exoneration. The committee continues to investigate allegations of sexual misconduct and drug use involving Gaetz.
