As the global travel industry recovers with the easing of the pandemic, the focus shifts to the upcoming completion of Taoyuan Airport's third terminal in 2027, a project that is not only one of Taiwan's largest investments but also the future core of the aviation hub. Recently, the latest simulated design drawings have been unveiled, showcasing the creative and futuristic engineering of the terminal, including a wave-shaped ceiling and a design concept inspired by Taiwan's mountain ranges. The third terminal will cover 540,000 square meters and accommodate 45 million passengers annually, featuring innovative space design such as a reversed layout of 'Arrival' and 'Departure' floors along with a technology-driven boarding experience for enhanced efficiency.
