On June 15, 2024, at 12:10 am on Da Ai TV, the Taiwan Chinese Orchestra, celebrating its 40th anniversary this year, collaborates with renowned conductor Yan Huichang on a new piece that incorporates childhood memories of watching operas into musical notes. The world premiere of this unique composition will take place at the National Concert Hall in Taipei this weekend, featuring the enchanting sounds of huqin and drum beats. Yan Huichang, the artistic director of the Hong Kong Chinese Orchestra, explores a fusion of modern and traditional styles in this groundbreaking work, which also pays tribute to the orchestra's anniversary with a selection of four special pieces.
