On June 19, 2024, the Agriculture Minister Hu Zhongyi and Tainan Mayor Huang Wei-Che visited and encouraged exhibitors at the Taiwan Pavilion during the '2024 Asia-Pacific Agricultural Technology Exhibition and Conference' held in Tainan. The exhibition aimed to promote cross-border technological exchange and cooperation in Taiwan's major agricultural production areas, showcasing smart agriculture and environmentally friendly agricultural materials. With 199 exhibitors from 13 countries participating, the event highlighted Taiwan's role as a hub for agricultural technology in the Asia-Pacific region, demonstrating the country's strength in agriculture technology. The participation of private and public sectors showcased Taiwan's agricultural technology soft power and emphasized the importance of international cooperation for the sustainable development of agriculture.
