On the one-month anniversary of President Lai Ching-te's inauguration, he announced the establishment of three major committees: the 'National Climate Change Strategy Committee,' the 'National Resilience Committee for Defense,' and the 'Committee for Promoting Health Taiwan,' aiming to develop strategies for national development, engage with civil society, deepen cooperation with the international community, and initiate actions for Taiwan's future. People First Party Chairman Ko Wen-je raised a crucial question, asking who bears political responsibility and questioning if the existing structure of the Executive Yuan is insufficient to accommodate personnel. Ko Wen-je urged President Lai to clarify the operation, business goals, and political accountability of the committees, citing the upcoming defense battle over the Taiwan Health Promotion Committee.
