Mismanagement by the parent company led to huge losses in the green energy sector nurtured by the Ministry of Economic Affairs, including the subsidiary Taiwan Salt Green Energy suffering staggering losses due to improper management, with projects shelved, completed projects unpaid, and internal corruption. Furthermore, there were leaks from internal staff to legislator Huang Kuo-chang, complicating personnel matters, while legal actions have been taken against former executives for breach of trust, and the mishandling of the green energy industry has raised concerns.
