Institutional Investors Boost 16 Lagging Stocks to Rebound

Reported 8 months ago

Institutional investors intervened, causing 16 lagging stocks like Largan Precision to rebound strongly. Despite a 25% increase in the Taiwan stock market and a market value surge exceeding 14.7 trillion NTD this year, around 350 of the listed stocks have faced declining market value and lagging stock performance. With positive operational fundamentals emerging, former stock champions such as UMC and Largan Precision led the rebound, and a total of 16 listed stocks received institutional support on the 17th, resulting in significant price hikes. The TWSE will hold a press conference next Monday (24th) to announce measures to boost Taiwan's market value, with companies facing continual declines this year likely to draw attention. Industry experts emphasized the importance of stock prices aligning with fundamentals and suggested keeping an eye on stocks with improving fundamentals for strategic investment opportunities.
