On June 28, 2024, the Taiwan stock market rose 126.27 points to close at 23,032.25 points, with a 0.55% increase. According to the Taiwan Stock Exchange's disclosed chip movement, the three major institutions collectively bought over NT$9.096 billion. In terms of stocks sold by these institutions, six stocks had over 10,000 shares sold, with panel manufacturer AU Optronics being the most heavily impacted with 37,000 shares cut, followed by Evergreen Marine with 29,000 shares, and Macronix with 15,000 shares. Shipping stocks made up three of the sold-out stocks today, including Evergreen Marine. Additionally, unified recycling was the most traded stock with 8,909 shares sold, ranking first in trading volume among listed stocks. Among the top 10 stocks sold by the three major institutions, AU Optronics led with over 37,116 shares sold, followed by Evergreen Marine with 29,588 shares, Macronix with 15,533 shares, Novatek with 12,300 shares, and Lite-On Technology with 10,630 shares. The fifth through tenth spots were taken by China Airlines, Unified Recycling, Taiwan Semiconductor, Gigabyte, and Evergreen, respectively.
