Intel has introduced its Arc Pro B50 and B60 series workstation GPUs, targeting customers who prefer on-site AI processing over cloud-based solutions. Starting at $299, these GPUs offer enhanced memory and performance capabilities—16GB of memory and up to 170 TOPS for B50, and 24GB with 197 TOPS for B60—aimed at resource-intensive applications. Intel aims to capture a share of the 30% market occupied by entry workstation GPUs and has also unveiled the Project Battlematrix system to run AI software effectively, increasing its competitiveness against rivals like Nvidia.
