Intel's stock declined by nearly 2% following a denial from a Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company board member regarding discussions for a joint venture to manage Intel's foundry business. Initial reports had suggested that TSMC, along with Nvidia, AMD, and Broadcom, were in talks with Intel, leading to a surge in its stock. However, the TSMC board member confirmed no such collaboration had been discussed, causing a sell-off in Intel shares.
