According to the latest news from Yahoo News, Central Weather Bureau issued special weather warnings for heavy rain at 5:15 pm, indicating vigorous development of convective cloud systems leading to short-term intense rainfall. Taipei City is expected to experience heavy or severe rain, with chances of heavy rain in New Taipei, Keelung, Nantou, and mountainous areas from Taoyuan to Taichung. Residents are advised to be cautious of lightning, strong gusts, potential landslides, and falling rocks. Immediate alerts for severe thunderstorms are in effect for Keelung, Taipei, and New Taipei until 6:15 pm. Flood level 1 alert is issued for Xinyi, Da'an, and Wenshan districts in Taipei City.
