The funeral of Wu Tongtan, founder of the Tiandao Alliance, took place at a parking lot in Keelung with heavy security measures by 900 police officers to prevent gang influence. Despite an estimated ten thousand attendees, strict rules prohibited gang insignia, maintained order, and resulted in the absence of any gang symbols or slogans during the event. The police presence aimed at ensuring a peaceful ceremony and mandated three prohibitions to attendees, including not disrupting public traffic, separating ceremonial processions from friends and family, avoiding gang symbols, and requiring identity checks for entry.
