A 28-year-old man, Yan Weichen, was suspected of organizing a drug trafficking group, using Telegram to recruit members and buyers. The group smuggled various drugs from the Netherlands to Taiwan through international mail, with at least 19 shipments sent to 6 cities within 2 months. The Criminal Bureau investigation led to the arrest of Yan and 5 others, seizing over 1 kg of cocaine, marijuana, MDMA, LSD, amphetamines, and ketamine. The operation involved members collecting drugs sent via international mail and delivering them to buyers to earn a commission. Yan and key members are in custody facing drug charges after the joint efforts of law enforcement agencies across several cities.
