The development of pain treatment is progressing, especially in relation to many disciplines where treatment techniques and diagnostic aspects are interconnected and cross-disciplinary cooperation is crucial. Taichung Tzu Chi Hospital hosted an 'International Pain Exchange Event' inviting American pain authority and domestic pain experts to share the latest technologies, provide real patient treatment courses, and enhance the precision and effectiveness of pain treatment. Over a hundred medical personnel from 10 different disciplines participated in exploring more advanced ways to improve pain control, marking a significant milestone. The event featured strong hands-on experiences and insight from real patients at Taichung Tzu Chi Hospital, with the American pain authority George C. Chang-Chien emphasizing the integration of imaging tools like ultrasound, X-rays, and possibly CT scans for pain treatment at a level only a few hospitals worldwide can achieve. Collaboration across different disciplines was highlighted as crucial for better understanding complex pain issues.
