Reported 8 months ago

The Criminal Investigation Bureau recently received a report on inspecting two parcels sent from Germany that contained 'bath salt bags and body scrub', discovering 8.61 kilograms of ketamine inside, valued at millions. The special task force arrested a Hong Kong Wo On Lok member in February, along with two local suspects, seizing 4.29 kilograms of ketamine in their rental in Taipei. Further investigations led to the arrest of two more suspects and the confiscation of more drugs. All three were detained by court order. The case involved drug trafficking carried out by a Hong Kong triad member seeking rental properties in Taipei to receive drug parcels. The police continue their efforts to combat illegal gangs and drug trafficking to maintain public safety.
