Dongshi Police Substation welcomed five interns from the 42nd class of police academy for the summer break to ensure they become efficient officers upon graduation. The substation will implement an apprenticeship system to provide in-depth learning of case handling processes, aiming for quick adaptability in police work after graduation. The interns, consisting of four males and one female, will undergo an 8-week internship with hands-on training. Substation chief Lin Zhongxing presided over an orientation session, emphasizing the integration of theoretical knowledge with practical experience to lay a solid foundation for their future careers. Safety during duties was highlighted, with reminders for interns to prioritize vigilance and avoid handling cases alone or driving police vehicles without official status.
