During Lee Jizhu's tenure as Vice Chairman and General Manager of Sinopac Financial Holdings, the company successfully merged with Yuanta Securities. Former independent director Lee Shengyan publicly accused Lee Jizhu of defamation, and in the first trial, Lee Jizhu won the case. Lee Jizhu expressed deep resentment towards the accusations made by Lee Shengyan, stating that the accusations were malicious and deliberate. Despite leaving her positions at Sinopac Financial Holdings in 2020 amidst controversies, Lee Jizhu still serves as an advisor at Sinopac Bank.
