39-year-old singer Zheng Ping, known for his album 'Just One Simple Sentence,' competed in multiple categories at the 35th Golden Melody Awards. During an interview, he revealed his long-term pneumothorax condition, which unexpectedly flared up while recording the album, causing a delay of six months. Zheng Ping's love for electronic music led him to study in the UK, but when he returned to Taiwan with heavy luggage, his lung collapsed. Despite the dangerous situation, he took a flight back to Taiwan and immediately sought medical attention upon arrival, surprising doctors with his survival. Zheng Ping has been dealing with pneumothorax for years, managing to recover each time, but the recent episode during album recording required a six-month break for recuperation. Despite facing setbacks, he remains positive about his music career and is currently busy producing a new album while maintaining his lung capacity by cycling.
