A woman in Taichung was taken advantage of by her friend's boyfriend after drinking and taking sleeping pills. The man claimed he mistook her for his girlfriend and later blamed the woman for initiating the encounter. The Taichung District Court sentenced him to 3 years and 6 months in prison for opportunistic sexual assault, a decision that can still be appealed.
