Government safety regulators have concluded their investigation into two Ford Focus recalls after determining that Ford has addressed their concerns. The initial recalls, affecting 1.5 million vehicles from 2012-2018 due to potential power loss, were initiated in 2018 and involved issues with a malfunctioning canister purge valve. Following a new investigation prompted by consumer complaints, Ford introduced a program to replace the faulty valve, leading regulators to close their investigation.
