A scam group impersonated investment expert 'Emily' to lure people into investment traps, successfully preventing a fraudulent sum of NT$5.09 million. The New Taipei City Police Bureau busted the fake investment fraud case, arresting 9 members who used Emily's videos to deceive people into joining a LINE group for stock purchases. Police seized evidence from the suspects and dismantled the fraud group, highlighting the increasingly common investment fraud scams and urging the public to be cautious and avoid falling victim to such schemes.
