A woman surnamed Yin mistakenly fell for an investment scam and lost a total of 750,000 NT dollars. Taoyuan City Government Police Department's Luzhu Branch worked with the victim to set up a trap, meeting the 33-year-old male driver surnamed Li face to face with 600,000 NT dollars in cash. Li was successfully caught, and evidence such as employee ID and receipts were found. The victim had unknowingly engaged in fake investment transactions through a social media group and LINE with Li, using a fake investment app, resulting in losses and subsequent police intervention. The case was handed over to the Taoyuan District Prosecutors' Office for further investigation.
