On June 16, 2024, reports suggest that Intel is aiming to reclaim its position in the foundry services market. Levi & Korsinsky law firm has urged investors to file a class-action lawsuit against Intel for allegedly concealing around $7 billion (approximately NT$226 billion) in losses from its 'Intel Foundry Services' division. Analyst Lu Xingzhi mentioned that Intel's CEO position is at risk, and the company might have a better chance of recovery if acquired by Apple or Nvidia.
