Apple has released the iOS 17.6 Beta 1 testing version, which includes new features in iMessage, Find App, NFC proximity sensing, and Apple News+ app. Notable changes are the ability of iMessage to detect foreign-originated text messages and warn users to be cautious, the addition of Apple Pencil Pro to the Find App, and allowing EU iPhone users to change the default Apple Pay payment app and select third-party payment app providers through NFC activation.
