However, a recent design choice at a booth in the lobby gave off a funeral parlor vibe, prompting netizens to question whether they were at a train station or a funeral parlor. The blue-themed booth design was described as eerie, with reactions ranging from amusement to slight fear among online users. The setup turned out to be part of an event organized by the Ministry of Economic Affairs Industry Development Bureau, with the Taiwanese Railways declining to comment on public perceptions of the décor.
