Israeli tech startups raise $2.9 billion in Q2

Reported 12 months ago

Israeli tech startups raised a total of $2.9 billion in the second quarter of 2024, the highest amount in two years. The funding included a significant $965 million round by cyber security firm Wiz, with the remaining $1.94 billion coming from other startups. The report also noted an increase in first-time investors and new foreign investors in the Israeli tech sector during this period. Despite a slowdown in fundraising in 2022 due to global economic conditions and government reforms, the sector's fundraising activity has remained strong and stable since the conflict with Hamas in October 2023.
