Italian Authorities Rescue 77 Chinese 'Slave Workers' Camouflaged as Immigrants by Luxury Cars

Reported about 1 year ago

Italian police recently dismantled a large-scale Chinese human smuggling ring, arresting 9 suspects and rescuing 77 illegal immigrants from China who were being treated as 'slaves,' including women and minors aged 15 to 18. The smuggling ring cleverly used luxury cars to transport these illegal immigrants, making them appear as well-dressed regular migrants with minimal luggage to pass through Italian and EU customs from Eastern Europe to Italy. Upon arrival, their passports were confiscated, turning them into laborers who had to work day and night until paying off their smuggling debts. This operation led to the arrest of 9 human trafficking suspects and the rescue of 77 illegal immigrants from China.
