Italy's industry minister has urged Stellantis to provide a firm commitment regarding its planned battery manufacturing plant in Termoli, warning that public funds will be redirected if no positive response is received within hours. The proposed gigafactory, part of a joint venture called ACC, is projected to require an investment of around 2 billion euros, including significant public funding. Minister Adolfo Urso expressed concerns over Stellantis' delays and its commitment to produce vehicles in Italy.
