IWC's New Material Ceralume® Shines Bright with Innovative Technology in the Field of Materials and Night Light

Reported 11 months ago

Ceralume® is an innovative development by IWC's XPL Experimental Engineering Department, combining Super-LumiNova® luminescent coating with ceramic powder to make the watch case glow like a battery for up to 24 hours continuously after absorbing light. Recently, IWC introduced a pilot's chronograph 41 concept watch showcasing Ceralume® night light ceramic material, marking a new breakthrough in material development. Collaborating with F1 seven-time champion Lewis Hamilton, IWC's strategic product planning and exploration of materials put them at the forefront, while also aligning with trends in night light technology across brands like Panerai, Roger Dubuis, and Bell & Ross.
