Hong Kong singer Jacky Cheung returns to the big screen after 8 years in the Hong Kong police crime action film 'The Borderland,' directed by Dante Lam. Cheung plays a customs chief with high-functioning bipolar disorder, a challenging role for him. He dedicated significant time and effort to prepare for the character, incorporating some of his own experiences into the role. Co-star Jessica Hsuan lauds Cheung's portrayal of the character's manic and dark complex aspects, while co-star Nicholas Tse helped him excel in action scenes. The film is set to release on July 5th in Taiwan.
