Japanese Aircraft Deviated from Path and Crashed into Trees in Kagoshima Mountain Area

On June 9, 2024, at 6:17 AM, a small aircraft from New Japan Aviation accidentally crashed into trees in Kagoshima, Japan. The plane was supposed to land at Kagoshima Airport around 11:06 AM local time but deviated from its flight path, crashing into trees about 2 kilometers southeast of the airport. Thankfully, there were no serious injuries. The aircraft had 2 people on board, both of whom were rescued by firefighters after 2:30 PM local time, with one person showing signs of mild dehydration and being taken to the hospital.
