Japanese Fukushima Nuclear Power Plant Employee, Over 50, Suffers Sudden Cardiac Arrest During Radiation Testing and Passes Away in Rest Area

On June 14, 2024, a male employee over 50 years old working for a partner company in the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant in Japan suddenly suffered a cardiac arrest while conducting radiation testing yesterday. Despite being rushed to the hospital after being found in the plant's rest area, the man unfortunately could not be saved. Tokyo Electric Power Company stated that they do not believe the man's death was work-related.
