The popular Kyoto brand 'Kyoto Onimaru' will open its first overseas store in Taiwan on June 20. The president of the Kyoto headquarters, Mr. Mizuno, revealed that the decision was based on the familiarity and fondness for Taiwan due to the frequent visits of Taiwanese tourists to their Kyoto store. The Taiwan store, located near Taipei's Siping Business District, aims to attract customers with a wide space to showcase the food preparation process. Offering over 20 flavors, the store hopes to sell 50,000 rice balls per month, with plans to introduce 2-4 new flavors monthly.
