Japanese popular food manufacturer Morinaga discovered a food safety issue in its baby biscuits, 'MORINAGA & CO. MANNABORO,' with suspected small animal feces. The company has urgently recalled 190,000 packs. In Taiwan, the Food and Drug Administration confirmed receiving the recall notice with 231.92 kg of the product imported by 6 companies. The foreign object contamination in the biscuits has not caused any reported health damage. Morinaga apologized for the incident, committed to stricter management to prevent future occurrences, and the TFDA is coordinating with importers regarding the matter.
