According to the 'Survey of Visitors to Japan's Consumption Trends' conducted by the Japan Tourism Agency, it was found that the top thing overseas tourists want to do in Japan is 'taste Japanese food.' Japanese cuisine has become a major attraction for tourists visiting Japan. The survey conducted by LIVE JAPAN interviewed 6 people from different countries to explore what they most wanted to eat in Japan before arriving and their experiences after trying the food. Aside from the classic Japanese dishes, some unexpected answers were uncovered, such as a Korean woman wanting to try afternoon tea in Japan due to the rarity of it in Korea, a French woman being surprised by the deliciousness of sushi in Japan compared to France, a Vietnamese man falling in love with hot pot dishes in Japan, and more, showcasing the diversity of desired food experiences in Japan.
