Japanese Player Katsuyoshi Itō Returns to Pitch After 2 Years, Impressed by Taiwan in 2013 Classic Game

Japanese former professional baseball player Katsuyoshi Itō, invited by the Chinatrust Brothers, returned to Taiwan to participate in the Tigers-themed day event at Taipei Dome. Itō, known as 'Muscle Superman', performed four push-ups before throwing the first pitch, expressing his love for Taiwan and recalling the impressive display of sportsmanship from Taiwan players circling the mound to salute the audience during the 2013 classic match. Itō, who enjoyed Taiwanese cuisine and admired the passionate baseball atmosphere in the stadium, also shared his experience of fans mistaking him for an IDOL due to his popularity upon arrival.
