Japanese printing company Osaka Sealing faced public scrutiny from the Fair Trade Commission for compelling 36 outsourced designers to redo designs for free over 24,600 times within just a year and a half. The company, known for producing labels and packaging for food containers, has now settled overdue revision fees totaling 9.84 million yen with the designers. The commission highlighted the excessive demands placed on the designers and cautioned the company to avoid repeating such actions in the future.
